Constitutional Republic:
A Constitutional Republic is a type of government in which the powers of the government are limited by a written or unwritten constitution. The Constitution serves as the supreme law of the land and provides a framework for the organization and functioning of the government. The United States of America is a classic example of a constitutional republic, and its Constitution is widely regarded as one of the most remarkable documents in modern history.
The European Founding Fathers of the United States of America established a Republic form of government to promote individual freedom and LIMITED the power of the government. They believed that the best way to protect individual rights and prevent the abuse of power was to create a government that was accountable to the people, and this is exactly what they did by drafting the Constitution.
