Mrs. SheepDawg..I want you to know you have resonated with me because I have found myself listening to a black man at the minute market pour his heart out to me and cry and had just buried his little brother. He said he felt unburdened. I am trying to do what you guys are saying. Even though I'm a Christian and have done some of this, I'm doing more because of you I believe. Another neighbor grilled all his hamburgers and had everyone come over.

But I meant to say her community came together and helped each other. She made a big pot of spaghetti because they have a gas stove. She learned to drink black coffee with water heated up from the stove.

My daughter's area, near Spartanburg, SC, had a flatbed truck drive around with gassed-up generators for people to buy and her neighbor bought one. They DID get power back today! She has 2 young boys (the 6-year-old is autistic who doesn't like change) so she was so happy!
